The camera arrived yesterday morning.
looking fantastic good quality.nice big lcd screen and viewfinder(pentaprisma) wide and clear.Writing pics to cf card at incredible speed.
Now I have to study a lot on all those settings.
The camera can write raw and jpg at the same time.
Also,got me a second hand lens Canon 28-135 USM IS.(great lens too)
This camera can focus very fast compare to canon 300D.
I will keep my 300D (date 2003)still good camera.
shutter and mirror where replaced in 2007.

so,very happy with the Canon 50D.Life view etc new for me,will have to check all that later.But i don't think i wil use Live view.

The camera shutter makes more noise than the Canon 300D.scaring the birds...klak klak klak at high speed (6,3shots/sec)...lol
