About Shot this guy in a cage and worked alittle on it to try and make it look
as it would in the wild outside of his band. Any suggestions is appreciated.

Hi Pilgrim,
Yeah,
Michael did a great job on the band removal. Unfortunately there isn't a lot you can do about the fact that the tree appears to have been sawn off. That sort of detracts from the natural look. Still a great image, captive or not.
I was extremely lucky a few weeks ago. While tracking down a Heron in my kayak, I came across something I have never seen in the wild. See my image of an immature Bald Eagle, posted a couple of weeks ago. I got a lot of pretty good shots of it, but I'm wondering if I will ever see it again.

Thanks so much for the kind words.....
I think you did a great job with the band
removal. I thought about it but my PS skills
are limited at best. Thanks for the tip Ill
give it a go and see if I can come close.
Have not used the healing brush much so who
knows! lol
Really appreciate your time effort on my behave!

I just put it into photoshop and cloned away. I think it would look okay as long as you don't get to close. I cloned from the bottom of the foot to the top for the left side of the foot. then I took out part of the band with clone from the dark area in between the legs. finally I healed and blurred some of the pixels just to make them blend some and hopefully get that wrinkly effect from their feet. May sound like a lot, but it took a few minutes. It is a really great shot. I love bald eagles, and for most of us it is so hard to photograph one in the wild. This is a great one from captivity.
