Thank you Sajjad for the info. I looked up the wrong telescope and saw a refractor. I don't know why Antares looks so large in my image. It is only a 300mm lens. Oh well, I am quite happy with this one.

It's right but my telescope is a reflector not a refractor...(6" newtone) here we have no fog but we have much light pollution so in cities we don't have sky certainly.
Be in touch... SAJJAD

Thank you so much Saad. I only used a 300mm lens for this photo, so I am amazed the that Antares showed up so large.

I have seen your new photos and wow, if I saw it correctly you have one heck of a nice telescope lens. A refractor? Oh, I would just die for such a high quality scope. I am impressed. We have fog here way too often, but that makes the night sky so special when it is clear. Obviously I have done well with my camera lenses for these photos, but with a true telescope and the same conditions............ oh, who knows? Thank you Saad, I appreciate your comment. After seeing your recent astro images I will add a playfull one in your honor. Check it out. ;)

Thank you Saad, I appreciate your comments as always. Correct me tho if you see room for improvement.................. I know this one was pretty darn good for what it is. ;) ............But on my other stuff, feel free to make your true feelings. I do not mind critique at all. Critique from others removes my personal memories of the photograph and the emotional experience and replaces it with reality.

Astronomic imaging must be quite the challenge, Randy! My compliments to you! Here in the Fraser Valley it is far too hazy to even attempt! Eb

Thank you Mutlu. Race? No, but that said, I do suppose they are traveling at an "astronomical" speed. haa haa. ;) The small fuzzy spot is a cluster of stars called M4 Antares is the orange or gold one and the bright one above it ........ heck, I don't know. ;) Like I said,I am no astronomer. I just like looking up.

You might find this interesting if you have never seen it.
http://www.physics.uci.edu/~observat/Physical_Scales.html
Many stars are bluish white, tho if you look closer and pay more attention, you will see more colors and variations between the stars. Antares is always noticeably gold in color tho some years more gold or orange than others. I know this isn't an astronomy site, but I know that many members here live in populated areas without a dark sky. ( I am very fortunate ) I just hope you enjoy the images for what they are. These are everyday items, but so rarely seen on UF, so I decided to show them for you that cannot see them.
