Thank you very much for your comments. Actually I see the center as just under his left arm and the road curving out and across frame in distance and to crop closer would also make it a bit more abstract than I would like.
I felt that if I cropped anymore I would lose, either part of the dog or the end of the grass, if that were to happen your eye would follow the grass and then stop, same with dog. My take on it. It's always a thrill to talk and share with others, around the world, thanks--ron s.

I like the colors and the softness in your picture.Maybe you should take a bit of the left site, up to the first grass in the middle of the road.So that the boy is not so in the center.And your composition is more in balance.
