Extremelly strong coloring with a raised contrast in two layers of complementary colors, and such a "muted" atmosphere! You managed very well to capture the looks of realiyt but also to cloth them in a special photographic cloth without altering the face of the real. Which is one of the most advanced levels of good photography, namely how to grasp the specialness of any given subject.
I don't know if the cut of the trees on the right couldn't be avoided for an even more integrated composition, and I also see some small regions of pixelation on the branches of the tree without leaves on the right. But the strength of the strict color palette and details into the depth lowers the importance of those things. The landscape remains tight and inviting into the perpective of the horizon. Surely a more than deserved award!
