Another well deserved award my dear friend.
Creative in composure with superb lighting to produce an excellent shadow against the wall. The monochromatic tones are excellent Gust@vo. I love too the attached version and I am torn between the two. It is also vaguely journalistic as it is strongly evocative a vision of a battered woman, a very emotive composition and something that occurs all too often in modern day life. Well done yet again to you my dear Gust@vo. My very best wishes to you as always.......Ray

Gracias una vez más Txules, siempre es un gran honor estar en la homepage del sitio, (te la debo!...;-)).
Por el lado de Del Potro, creo que además del cansancio, hay que tener en cuenta la falta de experiencia en partidos tan importantes, que por supuesto le sobra a Federer, no solo es una cuestión de fortaleza física, sino fundamentalmente, mental.

Del Potro no le ha podido ganar nunca y en Australia perdió por paliza, el juego del argentino le viene muy bien a Federer, aunque es cierto que Del Potro viene creciendo.
La verdad que me gustaría verlo a Roger ganar este grand slam y tocar el cielo de los más grandes del tennis (creo que lo empata a Sampras), pero bueno, Del Potro es nuestro pollo...:-)

La verdad esperaba que te guste porque creo, a lo largo de compartir tantas fotos, haber aprendido a conocer tus gustos en fotografía...:-), y me alegra que efectivamente sea así. De todas formas hay mucho mérito de Hebe quién hizo la toma original, yo le aporté mi experiencia con el PS...digamos, Hebe, la fotógrafa, yo el Photoshophografo!...:-)
En cuanto al tennis, la noticia es que se ha cumplido tu vaticinio, Federer/Del Potro en semifinales!, muy bueno!, y usted....siga entrenando!...:-)

genial, simplemente genial, una de tus mejore obras de siempre, fantástica en su concepto y en su simplicidad (aunque no simplona), me gusta más esta que la alternativa, realmente fabulosa querido Gustavo, debería ser premiada pero los editores están desparecidos, me temo

Efectivamente Stan, el abuso de las mujeres o los niños es un mal creciente en nuestros tiempos. Denunciarlo, poner en evidencia el problema, es un camino para tratar de resolverlo.

Yes the battered part really strikes me. It seems to cause me sadness thinking of so many people affected by such abuse. This was a very emotive view.

Gracias Stan por tu detallado comentario, yo me incliné por la versión mas "limpia" y despojada, pero la alternativa que presenté tiene sus virtudes también. A mí, siempre me cuesta decidirme...:-).
Se trata de una "Battered woman", tristemente muy comunes en nuestros tiempos, por lo cual las marcas en el maniquí son importantes.
Un gran abrazo y valoro mucho tus palabras.

I really like the head against the wall as if in the battle of life wearing one down. The light and textures are very good in this. the variation to me is the best of the two. I like the Halo of light around your model. She seems to have a skin problem but that adds to the drama.
