Sorry to keep pointing it out but since your basically calling me a lier and saying you didnt edit it, look at the bricks on the foreground as well on the left side.
The are going in the wrong direction. Why not just fix it and repost it? Im not saying its not award worthy i am just saying theres a mistake...

Looking at the pic....left side, your sidewalk is not lined up...It is obvious on my monitor maybe not on yours?

thanks for the suggestions but actually there are no errors here, at least the errors you said: the pattern on the left side was as it's depicted in the picture, no idea why is different, but I did not add anything to the picture; the man had 2 legs but one was crossed on the other one and covered by the bench, anyway why a man with one leg is an error?
do not apologize for bringing out errors but be sure the errors are errors :)

beautiful idea...however.... hehee...did you notice the left of the frame. the sidewalk where you added it, is not matched up and patterns in the sidewalk are the wrong direction? Also..you guy only has one leg? Sorryto bring out errors cause god knows i make a lot of them!

Excellent balance to this delightful mono composition JD. I love the dual meaning to the title. One lampost plus two people or, conversely two people and three legs . Again the use of corner vignettes enhances the shot. Well done, best wishes.....Ray

She left me 3 months later for a Banjo player. She was lucky to have left. I was not a happy camper. It made a better photographer of me today because I know I can keep what I shoot. Just making good back ups too!! Have a good weekend!!

mi querido Luis, claro que no, ya había leído tus comentarios, y no veas ganas que tengo de verte (junto a Gustavo); te cuento, en principio tenemos pensado un viaje de unos 35 días, principalmente por el norte del país, dao el clima del sur en Agosto; alquilaremos un auto y nos moveremos libremente sin un programa y por supuesto se aceptan sugerencias; en Buenos Aires entre la ida y la vuelta supongo estaremos unos cinco días, luego tendremos tiempo para conversar y tomar un buen asado y vino; Gustavo quiere que disputemos un partido de tenis :)
no me he olvidado de ti, de hecho te he echado de menos últimamente pero ya veo que incluso te han premiado con tu última foto, que a decir verdad si te han premiado a este deberían haberte premiado en todas
con respecto a esta foto, tienes razón es muy clásica, pero a la vez, como decis vos, despojada, sencilla y triste, o a mi me lo parece
en fin, te mantendré informado del viaje; estoy con el alquiler del auto en estos momentos
un KAPO abrazo, por cierto la carne me gusta poco hecha :)

Casi no tengo nada para decir, solo que el farol me parece con demasiado protagonismo y es muy fuerte, pese a que equilibra y acompaña a la pareja en el banco, en tanto el monte de la derecha, compensa, es bastante formal para ser tuya... o acaso estas cambiando.- Hay alguna razón por la que no me respondés??? My former wife burnt every image I had from 1950- 1989. I was devastated. Many wonderful b/w and some great slides from 1970-1989. I am still shooting film as I have been given a good Minolta Dimage Scanner. Hard to let film die. We live in a throw away world, and digital is part of it. Instant gratification just takes longer.LOL!!

thanks Stan, this image was taken from the memory card of the camera but yes I've been lucky, in the end the problem was the voltage transformer that was unable to give enough power to move the two big external disks, I don't have them yet and don't know if files are Ok but it's probably
my first task is to make a backup :)

I like the quite feeling this gives me. The vignette and b/w make this a pleasing image. I like the 3 legs under the bench. The view is nice. Did you have any luck recovering your images. I read that you had lost them, felt very bad for you!
