Hi Avi
I am back home enjoying whats left of the jet lag, and embarking on painting for my next art show in Washington State. Hopefully I will make enough money to jet off to some other place in the World!

Thanks Tim. So where are you now ? Back on mainland, or still among the waters ?

We are enjoying the Memorial Day weekend here. Hope you are having a good time too, wherever you are.

Awesome beauty, fabulous feel. The grain does so much for this shot

I have to call more than rent-a-crow then.. you see, I need to call rent-a-create-snowfall-in-newyork too.. It was snowing, you see :)

I like the bleak dark mood you've achieved here Avi. I see the point about the bird, but it doesn't bother me too much
Best wishes, Gary

Well call "rent a crow" and shoot it again I have to do the same thing sometimes with "rent a tree" --grainy mood---ron s.

Yes Ron. Having the bird directly over the pole was exactly my uneasiness too. Ideally I would have liked to get it more towards the right, but I guess I wasn't fast enough. Thanks for your wonderful critique !
cheers, Avi

Great title for this wonderful moody atmospheric composition my dear Avi. The mono tones are excellent and the bird's presence fortuitous. Well done to you my old friend. My very best wishes to you.......Ray

I really like this but I have to say that having the bird directly over the other main subject(pole and lines) splits the pict and makes my eye fight itself going back and forth between the two.
The texture and mood are certainly there but I think the comp makes us fight to get inside the pict and flow with it. Great experiement---ron s.
