Hi Paul, I just posted one with ISO 800 from my 40D. It is a still life of a porch filled with chairs. Tell me what you think. I was trying to see what kind of DOF I would get from this one. Glad that you and the Nikon are bonding. Takes time to get to know all of the secret buttons and dials. I still scratch my head trying to remeber what is what on mine.

Hi Stan....Thanks so much for the wonderful review. Yeah Im starting to connected with the
camera a bit more now. I was trying to shoot
hight ISO the last few days and have it looking
pretty good at 500 and 800.......Even was able
to get something workable at 1000 If I had to do
it! lol

Great sharpness and good DOF. The bird has some room in this and yet my eye comes back to the Robin. The details of the post are nice too. Makes a great perch. Looks like the Nikon is getting some good use.
