Hi Visar!
I dodn't have to guess many times since I have already made a list of such "vorbidden" words from my past messages. ;-) I even have made a small programm that searches for them and replaces them with the same words but with asterisks between each letter. ;-)
The thing is, and it seems that the seemingly "interested" still didn't get that, that Zappa has already crunched the whole machinery of *s*e*n*s*o*r*s*h*i*p* using his intelligence, and that the decision of a court and of two conferences after his ludid argumentation was that any kind of preventing people to say or write some word is unlawful. Anybody could bring such individuals to the court and make them undo such policies. But, as you know better than me, all that "nice and polite and civilized" hypnotized people would rather go to the cinema for glorifying yet another hollywoodian *s*h*i*t* of typical flatminded thinking, instead of going to the library and learn some things about culture hat deserves the name. It is also typical that exactly those who praise "freedom and human rights" are still some of the very very few ones that apply such *d*i*c*t*a*t*o*r*i*c* policies and even public executions. Bigotry, isn't it?
But to return to the "results" of using this or that word... there are no results at all. It is only words, nothing more. It would be better to fight with words, any words, than with guns. If we don't take oir own selves sooooo seriously and sooooo important then we can also listen to any word against us, and give it a smile. Because who knows, perhaps it tells he ruth too. ;-)
About the bad work after a good work, you spotted it right. It seems that many too many feel like climbing onto the throne of some "king" after a good image, and they lose all sense for reality. And the glorification continues to infinity. That's all. I couldn't care less for that. It's better to stay on this earth. It's easier, more sicnere and also more fun.
About *O*R*G*A*S*M*A*T*R*O*N*, great one! But, you know, when you just *s*h*i*t* on those politicians they no more have any power on you. Still they are useful! You can have much fun with them. I don't know any better satirical commedy than their speaches. I really laugh myself to pieces when I hear them. ;-)
Cheers!
Nick

Hi Nick- :) did you, perhaps, have to try many times in guessing which would be the word that would ban the comment?! the fact is that i would highly aprechiate the fact if the UF boys in charge would ban words such as: nice, beautihuufuull, ... and the words alike, which, in fact there's nothing wrong with them- only that they do polish all the nonesense, like an extended patting hand to promote the latter! ;) such a pitty, plunging into the 'wholesomeness of bliss', with the intention of keeping up a mask- whose weight is felt with the fact of being aware of having it on, on a shape as rigid as pure steel. - that is that, if someone happen to have done e good piece of work, which is aprechiated by many and fairly valued, next work of his/her is failure, far too many here lack that courage to say~ though they never fail to mark their visit on the stream, which usually is recorded with a boring paradigm~ the havoc of nacity!~
ah, i feel like listening to 'O*R*G*A*S*M*A*T*R*O*N'- espeacially, the second stanza, the last three lines ;) you know-

Hi Visar and thanks a lot for your reply too!
I guess the "offensive" word was *d*i*c*t*a*t*o*r. Well, go figure. ;-) Anyway, I add your message here for the sake of a continuous discussion without raptures.
************************************************* Hi Nick, and a bunch of thanks for the reply;
indeed, that higher cognitive value is in any case provoked by the character of the presentation- which is rather undefined and floating with a 'necessary' shape- prone to artist's/ creator's thrilling capacity to examine the form of the object from the outside, as laid back, or as looking from the outside, from outer world (if i may say).-- there, is born Art, taking hold of insatiable human longing for the spiritual, for the infinite truth... therefore, i would say that 'exact description' (as you put it) is transcended only through Art, by the artist's subjective world, experience- that is to say, artistic discovery which happens as unique view of the world; a Tarkovskian hieroglyphic absolute truth- like the unbreakable structure of haiku verses, showing up like a revelation, moments of illuminations, the felt truths, stirring of passion, to intuitively seize all that the world is composed of. here the artist is the d*i*c*t*a*t*o*r, the cruel, the the god himself, the backbone of the errless absolute- eternity brought to life within the contours of an image, the spirit that breaths with that given form.
******************************************
So, recapitulating I would say that the categorical imperative of all artistic work is the existence of the vision *prior* to impementation, for if this vision is absent, then the whole concept of arts becomes senseless glorification of
"So much style without substance So much stuff without style"
as Rush sung in "Grand Designs".
The imperative of perception is the easy part of it. Everybody has that.
The transformation to a real existing "stuff", like for example an image, is the hard part of it, where most wannabes will fail! For they don't seem to get it, that I, the spectator, will never be able to see in their minds. I will be only able to look at the image, ey? And so, if the imega doesn't make clear, absolutely clear what the vision was, then...
"how am I supposed to know secret meanings that they'll never show?"
as Ozzy sung in "I Don't know".
So, that a main reason for finding such images like this one amazing! They *do* show what I should look at!
Cheers!
Nick

Indeed this is one of the things that make arts to what they are, Visar. Keeping the real appearance of something but also enhancing its own character is one of the sub-phenomena of this. Keeping the many (also contradictory) elements present but also composing them in one and a single work is another sub-phenomenon of the same class. It is quite a central point to not put the subject inside bounds but to make it still perceptible, understandable without imposing any limitations on its being.
Which reminds me of things like for example a tree. It is impossible to define exactly what the pattern of a tree is, but still a tree is immediately recognizable. Nobody can say the exact "shape" of its pattern and it is good that it is this way, or else we would have to ask about each of the representants of a tree, if it is a tree or not since each one of them has its own particular shape. But still all of those particular shapes seem to have something in common. And that "something" transcends exact description. Perhaps in such complex cases, like the ones you describe, it is better to accept the less exact but more "understandable" definition, which strictly speaking is not a real definition, but nonetheless it is of a higher cognitive value?
Cheers!
Nick

Hi Nick,
... and thank you a lot for your great comment.
to be honest, flowers and portraiture are the two genres of photography that i find extremely hard to get them right- maybe, because they are mostly static, and lack the life; that life characterised by motion, action, interaction... (!?)- and, for as i am concerned, any work is to fulfil the criteria of stirring something that goes beyond what form presents, vulnerable to other senses as well, not only to the respective ones(visuals- photo, film; listening- music...), something that penetrates the formal character of the subject, goes in and through its content, and so present it as complex as possible by not defining it yet~ (would it be paradoxical to say, defining by not defining!)
much like any genre of many works of art actually, vulnerable brain cannot help subjects dribbling around, free of traditional values, starting and ending in making sense only inside that one that enjoys it.
cheers, v.

Amazing! For it's light, for its unusual and strong composition, for its tonal range and for its strange way to combine sharp and soft focus, details and blurry parts of an almost uncomprehensible but very well visible DoF! It reminds me of the look and feel of images on some LPs of Lou Reed, or Steely Dan, or also Patty Smith, Visar! (Drop them a line with the image and be sure that they start thinking about the next album! ;-)) The timing was completely perfect! It caught the moment that gits best the overall look. A bit of indifference in a bit of quiet desperation inside an bit of strong will to go on living.
One of its own kind, but certainly also one of your general signature.
Cheers!
Nick
