Thanks so much for your comments and tip on the sharpening Ray ~ I hadn't realised that and I'll check it out on my next upload! I'm a bit behind with commenting ~ PC probs and having to use a back-up one right now.. i'll try to catch up soon! Cheers, Susie

Love the tones to this composition my dear Susie and the way you have captured it with the quayside leading us up to the buildings. The detail clarity is amazingly sharp and in answer to your own observations to AJ, when you are uploading your next posting down near the bottom of all the details we give for our shots is a sharpening chart. If you feel that your images are sharp enough make sure that the UF feature is switched to off or nil. I think there are four settings and it automatically selects medium when I post, but there are nil, low and high settings in addition. Check it out sweetie, if you are concerned. I personally like the results you show us, so well done you. A big HUUUUUUUG and my very best wishes to you as always.......Ray

Many thanks AJ ~ I did use increased sharpening technique to get that look but for some reason my pics always appear over-sharpened on UF than on the originals! Cheers, Susie

A striking view. I like the lines of the quay sweeping from left to right, then back to the left again, and the limited tones. The aggressive sharpening gives it something of a painted look.
