Malules have commented on my shot at http://www.usefilm.com/Image.asp?ID=1505698 and he corrected the colors,of a documentary series of mine, that I want to show exactly as it was,now I have visited the place again, and done this editing for Malules, with somewhat saturation and leveling,
Hi dear Saad! I'm very grateful for your dedication to me. You did an excellent work. Thanks again to consider my suggestion. We all have something to learn. my best wishes to you, my friend, Malules
Hi Saad, I have only used Canon in my beginning digital quest. I think that the colors are quite true with my experience so far. I believe that both Nikon and Canon are the true leaders of the industry. Each camera seems to have it's strengths. You seem to learn quite quickly and am sure that you and the D3 will be friends for many days to come. Be well, Stan
You are always welcome Stan, yes I will continue with what is left, and they are more than one, there is an other two Canons, I was admired the 5D too much for its faithful captures of the colors and tones,I fine some difficulties in using the D3,but I am learning, my regards, Saad.
This photo in colors is sooo much different than in b&w. Totally different atmosphere, kinda more optimistic and I really don't know which one I like more - both have the charm.
Thanks for the info behind this shot. Malules has a great eye for detail and has been so supportive to us. You as well are a great support and very helpful with your honest critiques. Your friend must be very special to share such a nice camera with. You will continue with the Nikon? My best to you always, be well, Stan
Hi Stan, this special editing for Malules, all other shots are not edited at all,it is a documentary, and I want all to see the real facts, colors, textures exactly as it was naturally, but the dust, building materials, with the decaying walls produces somewhat flat shots, though they were taken very professionally, and a flat shot, without contrasts is not suitable to some tastes as you know,so Malules have edited one of the shots,it is this place and posted as an attachment, so when I have returned to the places ,I took with me all what my friends have wished, and the result is this one, that edited enormously to produce this color and contrast effect, as for the 5D,I bought it about four months ago,and before it I have got the D3 Nikon,I adores cameras as an instruments regardless its functions, and I have a dear Friend who is doing the impossible to take it from me,I will give it to him ,I think tomorrow, my best regards, Saad.
I love it. the tones and colors are really good. I went to google earth and explored Mosul with a friend of mine last night. I told him of my UF friends there, it was good to get a new perspective of your surroundings. Hope all is well, is the 5D a new way for you? the levels and saturation are great. Good dedication to a great photographer. Be well and keeping you in my thoughts, Stan
