Marc: It not a series now. It only the first tests to a series by which I shall do(make) later. It should be the big series. About 20-30 works. When she(it) will be completed, then all will be counterbalanced, with identical toning, with the balanced numbering works. And as, to this series it is planned to write the literary text. Works will correspond(meet) to a plot of the text. It will be then, sometime...

I forgot something... If your translator helps and if you can understand what I wrote here, I guess there is no problem. But if you wish and if you do speak either German either French, I could write in these 2 languages as well. Let me know. Cheers.

Hello, Andrew... Today, I had a closer look at your Alice, Alice 2, Alice 3 & Alice 4. And maybe I will try to articulate a little critique of this as a series...

I feel that Alice (here) and Alice 2 match together very well in style, tones, and craftmanship. Alice 4 would match as well, but it has a bit less of tiny details - from what I can see on my monitor - and mostly, it is toned in sepia. I think it would be interesting to have Alice 4 in Black and white, like Alice 1 & 2 - not in sepia.

I suppose Alice 4 will not be so soft and gentle in Black & white, and in that sense, I feel it would match Alice and Alice 2 and you will have a fantastic triptic.

Now, what about Alice 3...? To me, Alice 3 doesn't match the others in the series. First, it is an horizontal format, with different proportions. Then, the circles in it are sharp, and look like a graphical addition. these 3 circles in Alice, in my very very very humble opinion, do not fit in Alice 3, nor do they fit with Alice, Alice 2, and Alice 4. So, I think you may want to leave the 3rd Alice as a separate piece (possibly replace the rigid circles in it by gates, doors, whatever fits your fantasy and your style)... Alice, Alice 2, Alice 4 (renamed 3) seems like the perfect series to me. I would be interested in hearing your opinion about this suggestion. Best regards.

Love the added texture! The subject is quite interesting. Something a bit like Alice in Wonderland only more adult like. Or is this Alice in Wonderland? I noticed the title is Alice. Great art work!

Andrew, I love your stuff! I think this is my favorite of the ones you've posted on usefilm.com. Reminds me some of H. R. Geiger, but a lot different :) Maybe just because it's a bit dark and twisted. For those just passing by, his website has a bunch more great images.

This is sensational. I rank this with Robert Parke-Harrison's work. Thrilling to see. Great imagination and teshnical achievement. Good work. Keep it going.
