Hey this info is GOLD...thanks, and if I end up going your way I would love to hook up for a coffee or a outing as your time sees fit. I would just have to find a open WiFi to get online somewhere.
I will zoom into these spots on Google Map to see what there is....cheers!

Well Tim it looks like you have quite a photographic adventure ahead of you;I looked at the video and yes, you should hold on tight in the upper rigging!( just sit tight in the Crows nest!)
As for where to visit in Spain I'd recommend Sevilla first,as it's near Rota,and then,depending on whether you're after rural or urban photography,Caceres( the valle de Jerte-if the cherry trees are in blossom-Madrid,Segovia and Toledo and Santiago and the Galician coastline or shoot off down to Barcelona(fabulous city-and football team)and the surrounding area.Seven days is too short a time!If you are in and around Antequera I'll be glad to show you around.

this is a shot after my own heart! awesome! It looks like you have some good stuff available near you.
I am really looking over your portfolio to get a better sense of Spain. I am Sailing there in May...well leaving the Eastern Sea board of the USA in mid April arriving in Rota Spain May 8th. I am sailing on a 100 Meter square rigged tall ship called the USCG Eagle. I hope to get some fantastic shots over that 18 days and not falloff the upper rigging....lol. I have a week in Spain and wondered if you have ant suggestions of great places to check out.
