A photography five minutes friend, met her in Cappadocia, and she was a lone, she asked me to photo her with her Sony T100. after taking many captures to her,I asked her to photo her with my camera, and she was agreed thankfully, anyone knows her just say hello from a casual photographer.
Of course file size and upload time go hand in hand, Saad. That's why I wished we had such a compression algorithm that makes the file, say 10 times smaller but without any loss of information. And the mathematicians behind that algorithm work all so slowly! ;-)
Anyway, wish you the return of energy supply as soon as possible and let's hope that Obami-guy will be as human to know that the least he could do would be to support with all avialable means re-building the infrastructure that they destroyed.
yes dear Nick it is enough, but for me it is not the compression,it is the time it take to upload, when I am having a little power, and the slow line, right now I am in a hurry,in writing to conserve the power of my station, there is no power for the last tow days, and I have to do reply and shut the computer, for now, my best regards. Saad.
Well, isn't the normal JPEG compression enough, Saad? Normally it should suffice for a reasonable size, especially when there is little of that sudden changes of hue of adjucent pixels, as for example on the hair.
Anyway, I also wait for really good compression algorithms without quality loss, but I guess that it will really take a long time until we have them.
thank you dear Nick, this is an edited photo, and I am aware of the jigsaw at her hair in front of her face,it is due to the new method I have used recently to compress my photos to the web,I used PSCS3, save for the web,to decrease the size to its smallest size,we have slow line, and used previously a method that give me four times the size of this shot, my best regards, Saad.
Good details and very well done separation of the woman from the background, Saad! She stands out quite strongly and on a very nice place 0f the overall image. Perhaps a bit of that kind of jigsaw effects on her hair and on some contrours of her clothes. The plasticity of your protagonist was kept extremelly well, nonetheless.
it is a learning movie series, designed for photographers, there is a lot of titles,I will send you the title that suit me best, they are available on the internet,a small fee subscription and you are able to see all of them, but I have bought them from the market, one DVD, that contain tow courses for 1000$, OH BIG SORRY,1$, just log to Lynda.com and look for the wonders, Saad.
thank you my dear Harry, this an edited shot, level, curves, blending, brushing, and one mask, and just for you,the sunglasses were translucent,my best regards, BTW,I am practicing my total training course on my shots,my regards, Saad.
Saad, tou are doing a good job, I can really notice the quality of you images is increasing rapidly. I have informed friend jd that a rising star is on the way to be his equal , or more :-) ;-)
A pity you masked the sunglasses for now i cannot see her beautiful eyes ;-) ;-)
PS, is it selfstudy or do you use a book or guide?
thank you my dear Harry, this an edited shot, level, curves, blending, brushing, and one mask, and just for you,the sunglasses were translucent,my best regards, BTW,I am practicing my total training course on my shots,my regards, Saad.
thank you so much Harry,it is very difficult ,if not impossible to do portrait in Iraq in the present circumstances,I will remember your word every time the chance came ,inside Iraq,or abroad, to take portrait, and I will try portraits my friends at least, thank you again and have my best regards, Saad.
Well done Saad, I like the DOF used here, it separates her from the b/g. A friendly and handsome lady. And I know the face she looks at, a handsome and wise gentleman.
Well done, Saad, composition and subject seems to merge well...In my opinion you can work smoothly photographing people....let me know your thoughts my friend!!! Cheers, Harry
