And Rex looks really as reigning (phptographically) as it can get, Dave! A majestic portrait, so to speak. The focal separation gave him good enhancement against the white background, and the very good details support very strongly the radiating coloring of the fur and the spreaded snow on it. Especially the eyes seem really alive, shining. Quite a good study of an animal at a very good timing too!
