Hey, Dan, I was kidding you; I do own one for several years also the 300 2.8 IS I think I know both lenses inside out I feel you might need a better SLR. Not sure what you using!!

Hi Harry, yes this lens is worth every cent, I would recomend it to anyone. My friend wants to use it for portraits, but I think she will find it too sharp, and she will have to do a lot of detail softening on the face, believe me it shows every last tiny detail.

Thanks dear Nicki. My camera and lense did all the work, hahaha. This lense is so sharp that I do not have to do any post processing on any shot. Just a bit heavy after a while.

Thanks Ardalan, yes it was hot this day, but that water was freezing, but once you were wet and got out of the water the heat from the wind and sun dried you out pretty quick

I agree Dan. Would have been better but it has certainly showed the water spray to good effect this way. All the lines of spray attracts my attention just as much as the skier or even more so which i dont have a problem with. Keith

Yes I am very happy with my new toys, I could have never captured this before as it is here. I was very happy how it turned out, would ahve preferred the other way though, but I feel it still works with the skier behind the water.
