Great shot my friend, the exposure is spot on which is not easy considering the play between the light in the sky and the lights in the city. Great perspective to.

Thanks Tony. Yes, I see what you mean about the square of light - it does seem to draw the eyes to a point where the two streets either side seem about to meet.

SUPERSIZE! Super distance and most of all... SUPER CLEAR shot! I'm so dizzy from the millions or... billions of lights they sparkling here like a full star night sky! Great exposure so you get the lines of the streets, perfect!

Ah, now we have a definite early evening shot with an abundance of lighting clearly visable my dear AJ. Once again you have captured great depth to the composition. I can clearly see the traffic moving in the streets way way down below, I can make out the tiny watercraft making their way about the bay and I am able to judge the height of these awesome buildings from tinyness of the vehicles. Well done my good friend, an excellent addition to your portfolio. Very best wishes as always....Ray

Thanks Nicki. We timed it carefully to get daylight, dusk and night. What really p!$$ed me off though was that others had managed to smuggle tripods up to the top.

Fantastic capture with a great view!Some years ago I stood at the same place...but at daytime:))I like to see all the lights it gives a warm feeling.You did a great job with your camera resting on the balustrade!!!

Thanks Michele. This was taken 15 minutes after the previous one - there was still light in the sky but lights had by now come on in the buildings and streets. Makes for a much more colourful image! This had to be taken with the camera resting on the balustrade, as my tripod had been confiscated at the entrance...
