Yes, I really like the 40D. It gives me more ISO options, 6.5 fps and the Auto Focus is terrific.
For me 40D was a no-brainer upgrade. The only thing I regret was not to bought it sooner. 50D could be another good option, but I don't know much about it. I personally will stay away from the 1D Mark generation, they are to expensive for me. I rather invest in lenses.
But going back to the 40D, you can't go wrong with that camera.

This is beautiful.......... Do you like your 40D? My 5D isn't fast enough and the non-crop and only 3fps and not so good AF is killing me. rich_swanner@comcast.net Some advice ? I think at the lower price I want to pick one up... Thanks ...Rich
