You are very welcome, Jacqueline.

Perhaps tell the guys to throw a bucket of white color on the wall before starting to write. ;-)

Cheers!

Nick

Hi nick,
thanks for your long and thoughtful analysis, it has given me much to think about. I'm glad you found the image interesting. It does need to be a good dea whiter as you have noted I'll have to see what i can do about that and few other things. thanks for looking :) regards, Jac

A good subject for a shot in all ist sense for activity and "freshness" but also with some attitudes of modern reductionism for the sake of clarity, Jacqueline. It is much in the ways of "less is more" with its few colors, few things, few but clear elements of expression. No matter whether the expression itself also contains more complicated details like for example the chaotic run of black color on the wall under the letters, the means of expression remain few and clear and well defined. It could be one of the posters for temporary arts - if only that wall would be really radiating white for allowing those means to be completely isolated in their definition.

Technically there are some small problems here, for example where the contours of the letters and the flowing wet color exhibit some pixelation and "visual echoes". It is not really that much everywhere but on some regions it is. (Marked up attachment - you see the ghost curves of raised contrast/sharpness around the contours?.)

Good idea and good timing nevertheless.

Cheers!

Nick

Yeah, pretty sarcastic,.. a house full of teenager girls (one turning 18) and guys in their early 20's including a guy turning 21so a double celebration.the sign was an on the spot creation from the guys ...it made me grin and then run for the camera. Quite odd. ;) jac
