Hi Wolf, please don't feel you are pushing me, I'm thrilled to have a mentor and your advice is constructive criticism - which is ALWAYS welcome. I'm not absorbing info as well as I usually would, as I am at my sister's for a few weeks, due to an ongoing family drama...this is my 'relax' time. I know what you mean when you say you didn't learn all of this overnight. A year ago I didn't even know what an aperture was! I'm quite happy to 'chug' along, slow and steady and learn when I can. kind regards, Jacqueline.

I know arcsoft ;-)
PS has many more options, you may still want noise ninja or noiseware professional as plug in. But take your time , I feel I am pushing you. It took me 4 years to get where I am.

Hi Wolf, I'm glad you like the set up of the shot. I agree with you about the noise, I think that was more from me trying to reduce the image in size for UF than the 'original' shot. I'm using arcsoft photostudio, and it doesn't have a lot of options. I hope to be switching to Photoshop before the week is out.
