dear Harry,my believe is that there is no such a term as Islamic,this term is a modern one,thousand years ago when the men of arts do something they do not call it Islamic,they just call it art,or antique or whatever,it is the modern people who put Islamic to it,in my opinion art is universal,it just that there are some subjects that the Islamic faith prohibit ,like nudes,and sculptures of humans,and even the last there are some authorities that allow it.
