A beautiful image here Jen-- all of this studyiing photograhy is truely shown here altho I have always loved your work! You are a 'great' photographer and do get shots that amaze us all :)) The dedication here is also wonderful - I love the texture and smooth looking bodies of the horse and man - nice BG as well - I think that Harry would be very pleased with this :))

Informatie over Ede Staal
Ede Ulfert Staal werd geboren op 2 augustus 1941 in Warffum (Groningen). In 2006 zou hij dus 65 jaar oud geworden zijn. Zijn vader was werkzaam in het onderwijs. Ede Staal trouwde met Sophia Theodora (Fieke) Spoel, die een baan in de verpleging had. Ede en Fieke kregen zes zoons: Hanno, Jeroen, Martijn, Elwin, Jelger en Jasper.Het gezin Staal bewoonde verschillende boerderijen verspreid door de provincie, o.a. in Wehe-den Hoorn, 't Waar, Nieuw Scheemda, Nw Beerta, de Reiderwolderpolder bij Nw Statenzijl, Beerta en Farnsum; zij hielden van het buitenleven en van het Groninger landschap.

I cant see why you would be there ever my dear friend!! This is like a shock, hoping you do well and not be treated to bad.....
And yes, you lost a diner now for sure to Wolf,
he is more clever then we thought, I can fix a meal instead for him, what about that? :))

I was really busy making this shot, its a pity you didnt see me carrying my tripod around with the camera, you could have helped me out with the settings...lolll
I am happy you like it and hoping it is like you wanted, although the windows might distrect a bit:)
Where the ....is the birthpalce of Ede Staal, I know his songs a bit but my dear I come from Rotterdam, so I dont know much about your culture...lolll

stay on my own feet today:))
I sure did enjoy class last night, it was strange to walk with the tripod and camera with this
group, everybody asking around us what was going
on, so funny:))

Harry used to live in my town, so he once asked me
to make a shot of this very well known statue:)
Maybe Harry will be so kind to translate as he

You are right dear Dave I could have done this better, I was very busy to get this right in
focus, this night course was a big deal for me,
to set me new camera right, was a real challenge,
learned a lot:)
I have this black around now with some other
shots and it works well, so thank you a lot for

Thanks you my dear Jen, I am so grateful to see this great staue of my hometown. I am sure Unesco will put it on their list of world wonders.
Your course is paying off, minimal hotspots here and an excellent pose.
I am sure your next destination will be a pelgrimage to the birthplace of Ede Staal, our real and only grunninger troubadour ! "Mien Toentje" is my fav !
