Thanks Lorcan for your great comment and question.
If you are referring to the silky water effect, I used a tripod and neutral density 4 filter to achieve this 3.2 sec. exposure.
Welcome to Usefilm... post some of your shots soon! :-)

Thank you so much Debjit. It is a real honor anytime I get a compliment from you on my photos. I so admire your work!! Wish I knew just how you got those great colors in your images... I've not seen many that are that good. Galen Rowell was one.... tragic he is no longer with us.

I do like this Brigitte, a lot. I love the silkiness of the water tumbling over the rocks and beautiful delicate tones of the lichen and other vegetation growing in amongst the boulders. The details are superb and the atmosphere that your composition provides is truely wonderful. Well done to you. All the best.....Ray

Great shot Brigitte, tripod good, no blur. Nice use of the filter and exposure on this. The waterfall is great. Like the angles and the silky water. Very nice composition! Be well, Stan

Thank you for your kind words, Bipradas. I was actually quite pleased with the outcome. My first attempt at using the ND filter to achieve this kind of shot. The scene was actually pretty dark and shaded to begin with so I was quite impressed with the amount of quality detail this long exposure was able to pull from it.
