I love Europe for the WW2 battles reenactments. It is good opportunity to photograph the equipment and uniforms from back in the days. Unfortunately the pictures look flat and boring, they lack the emotions and tensions associated with real combat. I am not sure what expression Mr. Pineyro had in mind? To me this guy looks like he is ready to go home, he is not even looking where his gun is pointing.

Although there wasn't much color in the drab battle dress uniforms, just the addition of that color enlivens photographs that were once shot in black and white. I appreciate the increased level of realism because of this. Only the scarf is out of place.
