thanks Bruce, good to hear from you!! Thanks for the kind words and glad you liked this one..When I shot these I was not sure if it was to dark for the colors to come out or not. Hand held in knee deep water after releasing a nice Brown trout.

thanks so much Avi, to be in the frame as the colors changed intensity was amazing. The wolves were howling, the Elk were bugling, the fish were rising and the heavens were aglow. Peace and the fresh smell of the changing seasons. What a life!!!

Thanks Stan, the fall colors are kicking in and this was a shot to capture them. I was so pleased to see how it looked when I downloaded it from my humble little Nikon. It fit in my fishing vest and I had a feeling that the sunset was going to be a good one. Have a great week in Toronto my friend!

Thanks RG, this almost composed itself. I cropped out the mountain in the background to give the golden willows some pizzaz. I caught a nice fish just around the corner. Then I got the other capture after letting him go..I have a rough life but somebody has to do it. Pretty nice to beable to shoot and fish in the same moments of the day.. This creek is part of my life. I love wading and seeing the water constantly changing the stream bed. I find arrowheads and bison teeth on the sand bars. The flower shot I posted with these was on a sand bar in the middle of the creek. Check it out, the DOF came out cool and there is a small butterfly in the middle of the image.

Thanks so much Brigitte, I was fishing after dinner and through the camera in my fishing vest because it looked like a potential nice sunset. I had just caught a very nice Brown trout when I came around the bend of the creek to see this reflection. Out came my camera. This fishing was excellent and had a visit of many fish. I was using a grass hopper imitation that they wanted so bad. No fish were harmed during the evening.
