About This is another view from the Circular Park on top of the Mont Valérien.
La Défense is the prime high-rise office district of Paris. Many of Paris's tallest buildings can be found here.
But let's be honest about all that building activity and urban growth. How impressive that human skills and ingeniousness have lead to such an amazing place for mainly working and shopping, all the business is still based on its fundamentals of nature.
Great architecture of steel and glass only finding stability and healthy growth if fostering its green roots.

The US is already living dangerously for years as for the deficit. Time for a correction. They can sell Alaska back to the USSR . Or Quantanamo bay to Cuba hahahahah

Thank you for your visit and appreciation dear Luca,
Paris asks for so many views. This was only one of them, a view from a certain distance is called an overview :-)
Best regards,
Paul

Merci merci chère Teresa. The city you have visited recently and I'm glad that you left most towers without taking too many of its landmarks (or their mirrored images) on your way home to Warschawa,
je t'embrasse,
Paul

Hello Harry,
The ancient big cultures got at least follow-up with new cultures. If the sequence continues, it perfectly satisfies the laws of nature,
let's avoid an early collapse with investing 700 Billon dollars of American tax money for now :-)
vriendelijke groet,
Paul

Salut Nicki,
Paul

Hi John, this is not like Heraklion, but I imagine you also still find some trees in between concrete buildings now and then :-)
Tanks for your comment and all the best,
Paul

Salut Aziz,
je sais que tu connais très bien l'architecture de ce quartier La Défense. Tes prises de vue de très proche sont superbes. Il y de nouveaux bâtiments depuis ton départ. Bonne raison pour revenir.
amitiés,
Paul

The architecture of La Défense seen from a distance is so different as walking through the quarter itself. But that also counts for the impressions you get. The best is to evaluate both type of views, somewhat like a helicopter does at short and long distance.
kind regards,
Paul

Ciao Paul,
very nice and "clever" foto. I like it for the contrast: nature and steel-glass contruction.
cari saluti

Indeed, the indians lived in harmony with nature, a very wise attitude. I have a feeling that people and business are far away removed from nature. As a photo I like it very much, good you made the green roots the base here.
Very likely like ancient big cultures ( aztek, ayuttayah, mesopotamia, egypt , roman ) it will collapse und its own weight.

Amazing cityscape... I cannot believe here the great way that you compose the nature against the human's contractions... just PERFECT! the city looks so amazing... thinks that builded into the heart of the forest, amazing contrast of tones - colors and most of all... thoughts....

dear Paul ,I think this apply to every developmental process in the whole nature since the very beginning ,
this is a concept, and once the concepts contradicts themselves, they fall apart, and this applies to every aspect of life ,I guess,
very useful about, and beautiful shot,my regards,
Saad.
