About This goes out to Stan Hill. The Canon 17-85mm EFS, USM, IS, "Rocks"... I wish I still had mine. :(

Hand held, but bracing my arms on some rocks. The camera was in my hands and not on the rocks @ 1/5th of a second!

Now Stan, how many brain cells do you have now Big Boy... hehehe

Your Loving Son,

Marty

For not using a tripod, nicely captured Martin. I like the motion of the water. Nice landscape image.
Take care my ol friend.

Jac,

It was very dark in this cave, but the lens works very well. You have the same lens, so start using it and carry your tripod with you from now on...

Thank you Big Boy,

Marty

Briggy,

One of the best lenses I ever had the privalige to own. My first one lasted about 10 months and it started to catch while zooming around the 24mm mark. I took it back where I bought it and the owner replaced it with a brand new one on the spot.

I have friends in high places... hehehe

Thank you young lady,

Marty

That is a good example of what a steady hand and the 17-85mm Canon lens can do. The lighting here is low and still it's very sharp. Great effort on your part, Martin. I just got mine back from being repaired at the factory and am looking forward to using it again soon. I had bought it 2nd hand and it was giving me an error code "99" frequently. They determined it's auto-focus had failed and replaced a componant. Look for some pics in the near future in my portfolio. :) -Brigitte

Look for some color on the next one I have for you.. I left you a couple of images out there so take a peek at dads gifts for you as well.
Be well stan
