a cross that force the light into the darkness... love the way that the cross really popped up into the emptiness of the around areas, and that soft way that the lighting cames from the bottom and be more powerful right to the center of the cross, excellent image.

What is it about crosses in dark settings that have photographers pushing down on that shutter (me included)? I Like the way the light plays straight onto the cross but I reckon those two out of focus blurs might be better cloned out to emphasise the cross even more.

Hello AJ - I like this image and the presentation - I have always been spiritual but lately I am becoming even more so with these sad and horrible hurricannes and disasters just getting worse ..... Your image is very appropriate right now - for me -
The light , textures and tones of the cross are very good as well as the BG- with the 2 faint glimpse of light -
