Gemini... no, I am rather with the Apollo program, Harry. ;-)

Stubborn people will at least say what they think instead of trying to wrap you up in an endless series of half statements and half questions with an underlying tone of some kind of expectation that you will not notice how naively they think that they influence you as they wish. ;-)

I can switch off my Mac. Who's gonna switch off those "girls"??? ;-) Or switch them over to *women*?

Cheers!

Took the 45th year of my life last June, Harry! So, according to my calculator, 20 years ago I was 25, producing results of calculations in physics/mathematics, results of metal with my band, - what a furious time!!! - and results of spending each and every night at the local metal bar. Well, I still like that, but I know that this is nothing to be proud of, ey? ;-)

Girls? Oh no! They were only a hindrance for our furious enthusiasm for science and music and talks and smokes deep in the night. We didn't need somebody to tell us when it's time to go home, and when it's time to tell them how "pretty" they are, and to listen to all the nonsense about how "unhealthy" we lived.

Which is quite the same with what I "produce" now too. Science, music, and now also some images. With the same furious enthusiasm. Still not being able to feel any kind of "pride" about that, but still liking that a lot!

Cheers!

I dont know what you produced 25 years ago, maybe you were busy with the girls and thats also a nice hobby, May I ask your age Nick ? 40 ? 45 ?

Wish I could say the same about what I produced 25 years ago, Harry! ;-)

Cheers!

Well, its more that I am very proud of what I already produced 25 years ago.

25 years and there has been not really much change on that place, as far as I can see. But the new one is much better, Harry! The degree of detail and definition is lightyears ahead of this one. Same goes also for composition.

Such old images are always good for a review of the own evolution, ey?

Cheers!

Oh, and I am glad Musas shot is better quality, a D300 ought to be a lot better than a minolta XG 25 years ago ( ektachrome, locally processed :(

Hi Wolf, I chanced upon Musa's version a few days ago before seeing this one. It's great that you posted this to see the difference in 25 years. Your composition is good here just didn't have a fantastic lighting...and the lack of contrast and sharpness I presume is from transfering film to a digital format.

Thanks Nick,
Pse also have a look at http://www.usefilm.com/image/1458109.html same place 25 years later.

Good colors and texture of the water on the foreground, Harry! It needed some more contrast/sharpness on the buildings on the background. The composition seems to me to be balanced in some aspects but at the same time unbalanced in other aspects.

Cheers!

Magnificent and beautiful image.

Yes, no change in location.
The credit goes to preserve nature and culture of the place.
There is a tendency to preserve the old city and re-restoration.
Accept my sincere greetings ..
