The very strong motion blur worked quite surprising for my eyes, Ian! It introduced that kind of softening when looking to the world through a wet glass of some window under heavy rain. The diagonal separation of light and shadopw and that fuzzy guy exactly on the coundaries add much tension here, but it is a more "silent" kind of tension.
