The image is so happy, sweet and delightful. I love the way you've captured her in the air. The composition is beautiful. I'm so sorry about your dear wife's accident. My uncle (who is only 6 years older than me) had an accident in the desert while out on an ATV with his young sons. He was only 39 and became a quadriplegic. That was 21 years ago, and he continued working and recently retired, happy and living an otherwise healthy and fulfilled life with is wife and sons. Besides having the spirit and will to survive, the love and support of his wife and family meant everything to him and the quality of his life. Your deep love for your wife means everything to her, and I wish you both a wonderful and bright future. Antonia

Oh so sad!! I just read about your wifes horrible accident. Thank God she got help quickly and is on her way to a full recovery. I hope your future together is full of wonderful happy adventures. So thankful too that you still have her.

I love this image Darren. Without knowing you showed us how life can change dramatically from one day to the next. I am very sorry to hear about the accident and I truly hope she recovers soon and you both can share many more wonderful moments like this one.

It was a guided ATV tour through the desert near Cabo. Long story short, she drove her's over a small ledge and went face first into the grill. She was in critical condition and we had to Mediflight her by Jet to San Diego where she underwent facial reconstructive surgery. We had to stay in Cali for around a month before returning to Florida, but I still have my wife..ALIVE!
