thanks to you for showing what is hidden in KSA, I will search my photo CDs for the photo of the engine,I am sure I have shot it with the station which is restored and transformed into a gallery, tow years ago I have bought a book from it,and photos the very nice station as well, regards Saad
Thanks for answering my question about where did it go to. Wow, Instanbul to Mecca !!! I made the shot during "eid al fitr" Now this is teamwork Saad !!! Thanks you for adding the info. Would be nice to get both parts on one photo. Did not find any trace of more railtracks , except between Riyadh and al Kharj, operational as it seemed in 1983.
hi Harry,I have come to a common point with you at last of course excluding UF. I have seen the engine of this train in Syria, it was standing in the street in front of the old railway station of the line which is titled in Arabic the old railway of Higaz, this line connects Istanbul with Mecca, helped to establish and built by the Turk and German, destroyed with tactics and help of the British,my best regards Saad
