He must love it there. I do too! As for leaves I knew it... it is too bad that they are falling off before I get to see them. And I am going to Iowa this weekend and Iowa is south of here and they are a bit behind us. Well I try to go north to the Superior the first chance that I get. Hope to catch up with you sometimes there! I am the one with camera! :))

My oldest son is right at the top of Lake Superior now. (Fort Frances Ontario) He tells me the leaves are falling fast now.

I hope I get to see it this Fall... leaves are changing colors rapidly these days and I want to see the Fall colors before the winds take them away! :) I am glad you had good times.
I have been to your beautiful country this summer as well and I loved it! :)

A very nice capture Mitra.
Lake Superior is a fantastic opportunity for landscapes. We did a full trip around the lake last fall. We started in Toronto and drove north to Fort Frances. We crossed the border at International Falls and followed the coastline on the south shore. A very long drive, but worth the time.

A few simple elements that produce a very subtle image. I'm not sure I agree with Stan - the island is certainly not over-exposed and I rather like the bright effect in the clouds. A simple frame might hold the image in against the background, though...
