About Got a lot better than my first attempt. This time made sure there were no lights shining directly towards the camera.

Julie, this is about as good as it gets. I think the moons and stars come out great in IR, end up very distinct

Thank you so much Dave, I am so glad you like it. Julie gave me a challege so I had to try to master it. I think I have almost got it figured out.

Thanks J, still had issues here with some light blow out in the lens.

I definately think the phone call I was waiting for drove me to try to master this. And also your challege from the previous post.

The strong lights with normal cameras during long exposures come out good I thought, but in IR it's a definate no go, which is what I wanted to show people.

Nicely done night shot, Dan, the IR notwithstanding! I like your composition, especially with the stars, and the IR adds to the atmosphere of the shot.
Dave.

BRAVOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
Now we are talking Dan! This is great, a very beautiful clean shot without the strong lights disturbing the eye or cars in the middle of your frame. Perhaps the excitement of the call you were waiting for inspired you because this is fantastic!
I love everything about it!
Enjoy your Sunday!
xoxo,
J.

Thank you so much dear Michele for your kind words. It is much easier now to take shots at night of the sky tower that it is not lit up.
