The use of perspective is great here - it really emphasizes the size of the load of straw, and the huge job it will be to unload it. The lighting is very dramatic, but perhaps a bit to dark for my liking, too much shadow. Overall an interesting image, well captured.

Thanx Mervo. Your coment compelled me to write something about the photo.
As Calcutta is on the banks of river Ganges, for years it is an important business hub for the people of eastern India and Bangladesh.
Here in this picture, a loaded boat of straw which has came all the way from Bangladesh is being unloaded at the bank of the river. A business as usual in Calcutta.
Morning, Bagbazar Ghat, Calcutta.
Thanx Mate!!

This is excellent, fantastic framing and great light and exposure. They look to me like they are thatching a roof, great journalistic shot! 7/7
