Dear Ali, thanks for this reply! For us Dutch its strange to hear kids selling flowers to get money, but it seems like a good way maybe to do it this way? Hyacints are beautifil flowers to see, just the overwhelming smell is too much for me;)) Thanks for liking my purple flowers, will try to get some more this weekend, hopefully there are still some left at the field:))

Dear Jen!
Mountain childrens are coming daily for school to my town which is at sea side. From the beginning of february till to the end of march for earning the money they weak up early and they are collecting wilde Hyacinths and they bring their bouqets for selling after the school. Hyacinths are very very strong flowers and didnt fainted during 2 weeks if change regularly their water. And their smells are magic.

You know, I don't really like the smell of
hyacinths...terribe isnt it? I smell very well
and these are just too much for me...so I was
happy to have them in the field and not in my
house..loll

Suppose hyacinths are all over the world, only here they but them with millions together:)))
Thousands of tourists come every year to see them bloom, can't believe it.....

Doesn't look very stormy here, was having a quick look at UF and then I'm off with my daughter to a local rommelmarkt, perhaps some photo-opportunities there.
And no never crossed the border to see the famous huge flowerbeds, een gat in mijn cultuur waarschijnlijk :)
