Dear John!
Great perspective and generous idea, well planned work.
Good idea to present in B/W with desaturation. Good depth and point of view.
Warm Regards.

Hello John ...I think that the desaturation works really well... the color of the boat is awesome and the clarity also .. I am not sure but I take your actions for it as to show the entire tops of the poles or to cut off the forground a bit ... anyway it is a very good image and I do really like it :))

Happy Easter,
Michele~

Great perspective and creative idea, well executed work.
I think so this work is play with proportion of colors and b/w
this process is nice. Well captured subject, love the interesting
perspective view. Well done dear John! 7/7

Have a nice day & Happy Easter for You & your dear ones!

thanks a lot Avi for your kind comment...
you have a great point dear Avi... thanks a lot for that critique, you're absolutely right, I was wrong to cut the colors at the shape of the boat only...

Avi  Avi     {K:70138} 3/22/2008
ok. maybe the composition of this shot was tricky for selective coloring. the part that caught my eye was part of the front rope is in color, and part in monochrome - that is somewhat distrubing the balance.

Corel Photo Paint 12, I think the 'masking' tool that it has it is the easier to select an area into a photo... even a difficult one...
