Not sure if you read the about on the series of black and white images Jerzy but they were part of my school exhibit when I finished my 1st level in my photography course. I am so glad you like my work, it makes me happy.
Thanks,
Julie.

Hello Jules :)
This is a good photo, just pity that buildings on the left ! Pity we cant put it down. De qualquer maneira, e eu espero que o teu teacher me possa ler, esta forma de tirar fotos a p&b, deixa a gama tonal da escala de cinzas muito limitada! Ai mulher ! :)

Well taken Julie. Different in B&W. Not a lot of shade under that tree :)) But enough to help make your pic a nice one. All the best. Keith

Hi Alison. Thank you so much for your comment. My class is in black and white which I love. You're so right about the colors here, they are very distracting.
Best,
Julie.

Julie this one is amazing too! I like the long shadow of the palm tree and the nearby city buildings. It comes together very well!

Very nice framing, the tree and its shadow add a nice V composition and the bird completes it. Beautifully taken in B/W which keeps away any distraction which color might have created. Alison

Thank you for the historical background Dan. Being a New Yorker I am familiar with all that but certainly helpful to others.
Best,
