ahh I see bugger.. yeah... u need a 20D or somesuch... actually I think I'd buy a Nikon I have four of them (all film) and they are all better then the 5D but only Canon make a 28-300 zoom lens

Not with a point an shoot camera :-) you are limited to F8. The f-stop makes all the difference, it drives me nuts quite often. I need to get a new digital SLR

raw eh... I dont know that there would be any correlation there .. but I have shot lots of creeks and what have you, at round 1/10th sec @ F15 or so and got lots of nice furry water http://www.usefilm.com/Image.asp?ID=1386004 for instance ..I think maybe the water restrictions might be the key to this... kekeke I dont get the F8 limit... what do you mean by that.. in manual mode you should be able to set it up how you like

They where having water shortage issues in Sydney, maybe that was the problem :-).

Yes I know what you are saying, I find that with all my 15 second shutter shots, not as much movement captured in the water. I shoot RAW as well, but still can't get shots like others, most likely to be the F8 limit on my camera that I used for this shot.

Thank you for your comments

cool shot mate... at 15sec I would have thought there would have been more "volume" in the water.. but yeah it works

Thanks Guido, well there was plenty of lights around this area, I think it is nice how it lights the water also. Thanks for your comment
