The combination of vignetting and focus did catch the essence of the plants under snow very strongly, Roby. The details both of the plants and of the snow's texture fit each other very nicely hear. Actually the snow looks also like cotton or feathers here, and so it matches the light look of the grasses. The reduced palette was also exactly right for that tight composition.
The part of the plants out of focus at the low right was a bit unneeded here, but still the composition is welbalanced and very "integrated", tight.
A good work and a very good portrait of that view.

The quality of the image is "above all suspicion", Roby! Everything is in such a perfect light and detail! This is what I call nature photogarpyh that deserves the name! Alone the diffuse background light and at the same time the great contrast of the grass against the background is a fantastic achievement!
Only one small question: Why not removing those two small bumps on the left edge?
Extremely carefully composed and perfectly shot!

Lovely close up of this tall grass. It seems to be standing proudly even under the weight of the snow. The way you have captured the light coming through from behind really highlights the details of the plants. Your perspective for the shot is also very effective. Great image.

Square crop is pefrect for this one as it balances the composition well.
Detail is excellent and, as mentioned, the aperture chosen has made the DOF spot on.
Nice crisp white tones which can sometimes be so hard to master.
