Thanks again, Julie. When I took this image, I just wanted to characterize the mood of that gray day (both literal and metaphorical). I wanted my face to be intentionally chiaroscuro-like to show how I felt, thus the light vs. shadows.

Hola, Gustavo. Fijate que era una 'tarde gris,' como reza el gotan...Para una tarde tan gris, un humor tan gris tambien ;) (tambien queria jugar con la luz para mostar un lado de la cara iluminado y la otra, mas bien oscura, tipo 'chiaroscuro.'

Hola, Noemí. Mil gracias por comentar la imagen. It was just kind of an abnormal, gray day for Utah --here the sun shines more than 300 days per year-- and it just sort of coincided with my mood that day. I worked the tones to try to reflect the hibernative state in which I felt!
