About	Very small areas of land are ice-free in the Antarctic. These areas are frequented by penguins as areas for breeding colonies. This single Gentoo penguin came to investigate our arrival.

Lovely colours and shadows bringing out the texture of the ice and the rocks, and the penguin makes for a good focal point. Only thing that bothers me is on the upper right edge, those bits of dirt in the ice are a little distracting, I'm wanting to crop that side a bit. Did you try a vertical of the bird with its reflection in the water?
