I want to see you benaras shots!!!! Personally ... I just dream of Benaras ... very nite.... :) ... I wannna camp there for one month at any point of time...!!! :)

Calcutta is my hometown so as Avi's.!!! you went to Tibet too..!! not many people goes there though its a wonderful place to visit. Darjeeling is altime fav of mine... :)
You missed two places where you can a have time of your life as far as photography is concerned. Benaras and Rajasthan. Do visit Steve McCurry's site to take a glimpse of what you missed :) come down in India if you wish any point in future. I will join you ... and we will take a trip of Benaras and Rajasthan. You will see People Photography at its best!!! :)

well, a classic turn around India 1n 1992. Mumbai, calcuta, madras, cochin. agra, delhi....; after that one stop over in Delhi again just two days; and finally a trip between the nort of inida, nepal and Tibet, i mean Sikkim, darjeleen... I have to review and scan my old slides, perhaps i have something decent :)

very moody Deb, love the tone and grain; I'd crop just below the benches, focusing the view in the two people there; pigeons on th foreground don't add in my opinion, just a though my friend; btw wehre is Avi?
