About This guy was really spooked while I tried to get him to hold still long enough to shoot multi-exposures for HDR. Finally, he stood still long enough for one decent series. The cow wasn't as cooperative.

While he slightly moved his head during the shots, I really liked the "glow" he has.

Very nice shot, great colors and lighting conditions and the fence is a very strong element into your composition.
Best regards!

Thanks, Michele... reference HDR, see the tutorial I wrote in the forums: http://www.usefilm.com/Photo_Forum/17/1013616/

It pretty much explains everything about the basics.

Thanks, Gary... Yup, you are correct, moving objects are hit and miss... but I wanted to try one for grins... and he stood still (relatively). My friend Bernardo suggests using a single RAW capture for this and then processing it in hdr... I just am not yet set up for RAW. But working on it.

Hey Dave. Seems that hdr seems to work well with stationary objects, though mobile ones get that "ghostly" look to them. Nice shot though. I may have to try that technique someday, either that or get a bunch of split ND filters or something! Cheers, Gary
