Hi Dave,
Go see the photo Nature Gound Floor-II, I findet him there,give some food,and after he stick to me for two next days of my trip up north to marina of my friends at Bayfield Inlet, Georgian Bay-ON.
Sunday night I was living buck home to Toronto he lie down on the midle of the road,do not let me go away.
Hard to belive.

I finded him in the forest near by marina of my friends,give some food,and hi stayed with me next two days,hard to belive.
No they are not protected species in Canada in this time,
