Mary, I haven't heard about the place as well till 2 years ago our friends moved to the area. It's heritage place with the bookmarks in our history once even considered to be capital of Canada, but it was long, long time ago.

Carrying Place is not a location I have heard of, even though I live in Ontario. Itis a neat name, though. Obviously, it is a very pretty place,as well. Your composition with the wonderful reflections and colours is super. Your use of the lighting draws my eyes from the darker in the foreground right into the interior led by the brighter section along the way. Lovely image.

Hi Andrzej,
I just opened up the recent images and found this one first. I really like this perspective of the canal. I think it is always a good idea to include something in the foreground like those pier logs in this kind of image. Very pleasing colour in this image too.
