Thanks for the update Abhi. Ya i know how they commute to work and back home. I was accustomed to kolkata/howrah local train. just the same as mumbai.

Thank you very much Rajesh, for your comment. Yes..They were all looking to the camera initially as I started to shoot, but later as the crowds grew more and more, they were all bored of me. Also this one I shot just during the evening journey back home, so they were all half dead with the day long slogging and were waiting to reach home more than anything else.

good candid abhi. if i had taken it, probably all of them would be looking towards the camera seeing such e big one.don't know how did you manage it to shot without the attention of so many people.

superb journalistic shot Abhi. i know the inhuman condition under which people have to move in those trains, i have a personal experience of that. and yes, here you have been able to raise your hands to take this shot but there are situations where there the rush is so much that even moving one of your hands is out of the question.
