About Location: Rannoch Moor, Glencoe, Scotland.

The weather could not have been more different from the previous day, crisp soft light, an ethereal mist and the first inkling that sunrise was going to be spectacular. Yet I was feeling awful, a pounding headache from the previous night spent in the Transient Light wagon had turned into a migraine and even as the first pink fingers of dawn stretched across the vast expanse of Rannoch moor and softly lit this tuning fork shaped tree I was sick, repeatedly, wretchedly ill. Thankfully my dedication to the cause of photography paid off. I'm not sure that the three piles of vomit that greeted the hapless quintet of photographers that followed, caused them to be equally impressed with my resolve.

NEW!! Photographic Holidays at TRANSIENT LIGHT.

So sorry that you got ill - but thanks to your "stiff upper lip" and all that you managed to capture a beautiful shot. I personally get a "peace and tranquility" feeling from this shot. Thank you for sticking it out, getting the shot, and then uploading it. Jan :)

Oh c'mon Ian, Rule#1: vomit and photography go hand-in-hand. You should feel ill more often if that's what it takes to bring out this kind of stuff! LOL Lovely composition of colors and textures. Nicely done! (more piles of vomit next time!)-john
