I appreciate your comments very much. This is a critic forum and that's why I put the image there; to be critiqued. I agree with your comment on part of the left swan being chopped out.

What I myself like in this image is not so much the composition, but the red beak of the bird in an otherwise all-green image.

OK well here is my two pennies worth regarding this shot.

For me the composition is all wrong. The swan on the left is chopped out of the frame and it perturbs me greatly. The overhanging willow trees are a nice addition and provide a little bit of framing in the foreground but they don't do enough to fill this rather empty frame.

The green water is what first caught my eye, the thumbnail looked romantically promising however it was not meant to be.

Personally speaking I would crop this square and either lose some from the top or lose some from the bottom of the frame. To finish with praise, the exposure and colours are good.
